ICELANDIC CHRISTMAS
7 DAYS ICELANDIC CELEBRATIONS AND COUNTRY LIFE
Winter, feasts and Icelandic way of life. The rhythm of daily life has changed: Dawn is lasting for hours, blizzards might drive us into the house... How do Icelanders celebrate Christmas? How is life in the darkness? We first observe the Christmas preparations in Reykjavík and later we will get acquainted with the flourishing cultural activities. And then, what can be more comfortable on a Winter afternoon, than relaxing with a good book in hand, like so many of the Icelanders do at this time of year?
